A TXTS4 Teachers contributor recently stumbled on the “How to be Awesome at Your Job” podcast and was struck by a bolt of inspiration! Teachers are already awesome at their jobs, yet it is tough to step out of the “school world” for fresh insight.
One episode really struck a chord: “How to be a Chief Without a Title” by Rick Miller. The entire episode is well worth listening to, but one profound take away is Miller’s contention that “true power lies within the ones who have influence.” We invite you to take Miller’s free “Power Compass Survey,” an intriguing assessment of the interplay of our values with four leadership qualities.
