Your website is often the first (and sometimes the only) place people will look for information about your school or district. Make sure it’s welcoming and easy to use!

Each district and school website homepage should have one-click access to the following critical elements:

1.       Student Enrollment: Multiple “Enroll Today” buttons across the page and an easily viewed phone number are key.

2.       Employment: This page should feature salary schedules. Ideally, this page will also be the landing page for an online application. This is also a good place for any upcoming Job Fair information.

3.       Opportunity Culture: Districts and schools participating in Opportunity Culture should have a button that opens a new tab to the Opportunity Culture website.

4.       Arizona Tax Credit: A link to an informational page on the school and district website should exist. From that page, there should be a redirect link to an online portal as well as a downloadable form.

5.       Contact Form: It is crucial that this link directs any messages to an inbox that is regularly monitored.

Remember, we don’t ever want to send a user away from our website, so all links to external sites should open in a new tab, rather than redirecting the current tab.
