Roosevelt ESD 2025 Ballot Requests
Roosevelt Elementary School District
November 4, 2025 Special Election
Voter Information
Dear Voters,
This election, on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, your ballot includes a school district Maintenance & Operations (M&O) override measure. This item is placed on the ballot by your locally elected school district governing board, ensuring that voters decide for themselves how local tax dollars are invested to meet district needs.
A “M&O” override temporarily allows your district to exceed its budget authority up to 15% to provide additional funding for a district’s maintenance and operations budget. M&O overrides expire after a set period, and it is up to the voters to decide whether to renew the tax.
This pamphlet is designed to provide you with clear information so that you can make an informed decision. Each district’s needs are different, and it is important to review the details of any proposal carefully and consider its impact on both students and taxpayers.
Strong schools are essential to building the future of our community and our country. These elections give voters a direct voice in how their local schools are supported. Exercising your right to vote is one of the most important ways to ensure that community values and priorities are reflected in decisions about the wise use of public funds.
Thank you for being engaged, informed, and committed to shaping the future of education in your community. Please remember to vote on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
Sincerely,
Shelli Boggs
Maricopa County School Superintendent
